Stay tuned because my blog is under undercover construction by Carpe Diem Construction! She’s teaching me to blog from my phone (I know, right?), to treat my work with dignity, and to not hide under a bushel basket.
Because I am in the midst of not one, not two, but three classes this term, I will list for you the things I have been ruminating over and really should blog about:
::Maxiney died last Spring.
::Benicio endured/went through two soccer travel-team tryouts.
::Soccer has become our life. I have wept over the improvements these girls are making. And I’m not talking about my daughters,I had no idea I’d love other’s people’s kids this much.
::You haven’t seen a sweeper-defender until you watch Calliope Free blow your mind.
::In the very beginning of Fall, was privileged to be part of an incredible birth, one for the books, I tell you.
::The documentary that has changed the way this house runs.
::My Counseling Physiology class is opening my eyes so much: What’s somatic? What’s an issue of the heart? Why is there so much crossover?
::My Marriage Counseling class: Friendship is so much like loving, mutual, scriptural friendship, duh.
::And Church History with this teacher is teaching me: God is so incredible that he designed it so that church and life could still go on amidst utter human chaos and depravity. We are such a mix of politics, belief, ritual and love. Religion is not of our own making. Sacrament and ritual are God’s gifts and signs to us.
