Some Adjusting

Lovin so far:
-the tiny amazing vacuum cleaner here made by Sharp (Don't they make tv's?)
-the way the kids hug the air conditioning unit when we come into the apartment.
-the kids from all over the world at Peabody Terrace playground. (I feel so lame just speaking English and offering them pretzels. It should be Tagalog and offering them nori or something.)
-St. Paul's Church just across the street, we squeak into daily Mass like Kramer entering the room.
-the play that they do together:tent sales, exclusive tent clubs, shows, action figure battles, them trying to read the kids books in Hebrew on the shelf, making fake money, sprinkler dodgeball, Go Fish adapted to 3 yr olds (upside-down shoeboxes so she doesn't have to hold her cards).

Tryin to cope with:
-the fact that Harvard Housing does not recycle. WTF?
-impatient launderers who interrupt my load and fail to close it so the time runs out.
-I can neither do late night nor early am laundry.
-neighbors above and below.
-factoring time to find a parking space on the street
-zig zaggy one-ways
-insane traffic just to cross the river

I think I sound a bit whiny there but really I am grateful to be here.
