Today Feels Like Summer

Things we did:
Combined hydrangea flowers with pebbles from the school driveway in an Aquafina bottle.
Had a picnic by a creek with friends.
Built sandcastles, dams, got wetter than we expected.
Ate birthday cake gelato.
Dared to eat watermelon seeds.
Changed in the car.
Listened to LZ's Fool in the Rain while comparing yearbooks.
Weeded.
Spat plum pits.
Made mint tea and salad from the garden.
Hunted down Bonhoeffer book and found it under a wet mound of swimsuits.
