So, we have Epilepsy.
In a 20 minute EEG, Manny had 5 seizures. We found this out on Friday. And I'm assuming if you are here at my blog, that you are close enough to us to care, which means, you are close enough for me to ask you to pray.
Children are so vulnerable. I keep thinking about Manny's brain seizing up like Lily Tomlin's telephone circuits-- all lights and confusion. I guess for years he's been having seizures. That's the part I cry about most. But it's true, I marvel at the way he has adapted all this time. The way, though jarring and challenged at times, he has managed to live many long healthy days!
We are on good meds. We are taking it day by day. Learning to *trust the Captain, to trust the crew.
